Where do the workshops happen?

Can I get to the venue by public transport?

The nearest bus and train station is Newton Abbot, a 20 minute drive by taxi. You can book a taxi from the station.

Who are the workshops for?

Flourish Families are designed as one to one adult and child (age 7 +) workshops.

What level of fitness/ability is required to participate?

We aim to make the workshops as accessible as possible within the context and limitations of woodland setting with uneven ground and basic facilities. The day includes a fair amount of walking over mainly level but uneven terrain. Therefore a certain level of physical ability is needed.If you have mobility issues or other physical needs please get in touch before booking, so we can see how we can accommodate your needs.

What are the facilities like?

We have a compost loo otherwise we encourage wild wees.
We will be sitting under the trees so please bring a cushion if you like a softer seat.

What about cancellations etc?

If you are unable to attend an event you have booked on we will give you a 80% refund if we are able to fill your place, or you can transfer your place to a friend if you provide their name and contact details. Bookings are not transferable from one workshop to another.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry only assistance dogs are permitted on the workshop.

Covid-19

We ask everyone to adhere to the current social distancing guidelines and would ask you not to attend if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or any other Covid-19 symptoms. Masks are optional as we will be outdoors at all times. In booking a place on this workshop, you are agreeing that you understand all the above and that you will adhere to Covid-19 guidelines.

Is any food or drink provided?

No. We invite you to bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks.
